June 11, 12th Okeeheelee Slalom Record

After sitting in the car waiting for the rain to stop my energy level was building and by the time it had stopped I was pumped and ready to ski! I was determined to run 38 off (11meters) and that is exactly what I did the first round of the event. The first round was held on the turnpike lake, a lake I had many memories on of skiing as a junior girl in the US Nationals. Okeeheelee is one of my favorite places to ski in the world, and that day again I proved to myself that I could easily run the 38off pass. I only scored ½ @ 39off (10.75 meters), which was not exactly what I had wanted, but it was definitely a good start to the season.
