Ok, not my best weekend to say the least. I have no real explanation except for the truth, I screwed up! We all do it at some point in the season…ok maybe not all of us, but for me it happened to be the World Championships this year. This was my first World Championships to not make the finals. I felt disappointed because

this was a big one for me, and I had hoped in my year off of school to make a big appearance at this Worlds, but it was not my time to shine this year. I hope in years to come that I will do better in the World Championships, but at least I can always look back and cherish the fact that I already hold a bronze medal at the
Worlds from 2003. I decided to dust myself off after the pain and humiliation of this one, and get ready for the next World Cup stop in Ireland. I realized my energy would be better spent getting ready for the next tournament! Better luck in Calgary in 2009!
